While most people operate with only three degrees of action-no action, retreat, or normal action-if you're after big goals, you don't want to settle for the ordinary. To reach the next level, you must understand the coveted 4th degree of action. This 4th degree, also know as the 10 X Rule, is that level of action that guarantees companies and individuals realize their goals and dreams. It also demonstrates why people get stuck in the first three actions and how to move into making the 10X Rule a discipline.
The chart you included was very eye opening, and it is interesting to see how much time is spent on certain subjects, where very little time is spent on others.
As you stated, engineering is beginning to have more and more women enter it, even though it is a typically male dominated area. I think this just goes to show how many changes are being made not only in the workforce, but in the world as whole.
This was a great post, and it has been wonderful reading your works, Sam! Alaina Weinheimer April 19, at 1: Hearing about the schooling system there put a lot topics in perspective, such as the deep dedication to the Islamic religion felt by some students.
My German teacher taught at an international school in Kuwait for a couple of years and she said some students become heavily invested in their grades to the point where a B could mean suicide.
That kind of dedication to school is very unusual to Americans. Very often, American students are held to academic standards, as well as extra-curricular standards.

I agree with Anna; the range of subjects taught for the younger ages is ridiculously large. When I was in middle school, I learned math, science, English, and history! Again, a very informative piece, Sam!
Anna Lombardo April 18, at 8: I think Americans have tendency to lump Iran in with all of the other Middle Eastern countries that deny women the same educational rights as men. But, with a few exceptions, it seems like they do actually allow women to pursue education.
I found it interesting how the first twelve years of schooling in Iran are organized in a very similar way as the United States. I wonder if they have taken some influence from us? I also think it is incredible the wide range of subjects that students as young as middle schoolers study.
One other interesting point you make—North Korea has no data on their education system. It seems very secretive. Great job on your last CI post Sam!There is a hours time difference between Iran and Canada right now. The flight duration time is the approximate flight duration time.
